SEIU Local 1 Chicago Headquarters – A Dynamic Workplace

Eckenhoff Saunders is proud to announce the completion of the SEIU Local 1’s Chicago Headquarters, a 21,000-square-foot renovation located in the heart of downtown Chicago at the Aon Center. The team served as lead architect, planner, and interior designer for this transformative workplace environment.

Designed to reflect the union’s mission and the strength of its diverse membership, the new space features an open, light-filled layout that fosters collaboration while preserving private offices and meeting rooms for focused work.

• Key Spaces: Staff café, multi-purpose training and meeting rooms, flexible furniture systems
• Design Features: Branded environmental graphics, custom signage, member-designed entry mural, integrated color palette of purple, gold, and gray
