Eckenhoff Saunders is designing Marielle on the Park, a new condominium development at 23 South Sangamon Street overlooking Mary Bartelme Park in Chicago’s West Loop. Developed by Fern Hill, the project will bring 70 residences and ground-floor dining spaces to a prominent park-side setting.
The tower’s stepped form and white-brick exterior create a distinctive architectural presence, with setbacks introducing generous private terraces. The design connects urban living with outdoor space, opening residences to views of the park and surrounding neighborhood.
At street level, planned café and restaurant spaces will contribute to neighborhood activity, while public restrooms and dedicated park storage will support Mary Bartelme Park. Above the parking podium, a shared outdoor pool terrace will provide residents with another connection to the outdoors.
