Eckenhoff Saunders developed the master plan for Maple Leaf Crossing, a mixed-use commercial development in downtown Munster, Indiana. The plan includes approximately 150,000 sf of professional and medical office space designed to support the community’s continued growth.

Drawing inspiration from rehabilitated industrial buildings, the development establishes a distinct identity through a material palette of brick, steel, and corrugated metal. Each building features its own architectural character while contributing to a cohesive streetscape.

The largest office building incorporates modular window systems and unitized thin-wall panels. Located adjacent to the Canadian National Rail Line, the building was designed to address both acoustic performance and safety considerations.
