Ascension Alexian Brothers Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
Ascension Illinois partnered with Eckenhoff Saunders for the renovation and expansion of their new facility in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held last week (August 28) to celebrate the project’s completion. This significant 100,000-square-foot expansion enhances patient care with state-of-the-art private inpatient rooms dedicated to neuroscience services. The project also extends the East Tower, adding two floors with 36 cutting-edge patient care rooms. Additionally, 22,000 square feet of advanced operating rooms and recovery spaces have been designed to support pioneering procedures, including the latest in robotic and minimally invasive treatments.
Ascension leaders and local/state officials, such as U.S. Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi and Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig B. Johnson, were in attendance.
