The Gift of Hope Organ Donor Care Center at RUSH

Eckenhoff Saunders partnered with RUSH University Medical Center and the Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network to design Illinois’ first hospital-based organ donation care center. The Gift of Hope Donor Care Center at RUSH features six advanced intensive care bays, two state-of-the-art operating rooms, and around-the-clock medical and support services dedicated to donor management and recovery. A thoughtfully designed family lounge ensures a comfortable and compassionate experience for donor families. The center is projected to care for up to 250 organ donors and their families annually.
