Eckenhoff Saunders led the design and transformation of a former retail store into a 100,000 sf cutting-edge outpatient healthcare facility for Duly Health and Care. This adaptive reuse project reimagined a vacant big-box space, introducing an elevated patient-centered environment while maximizing efficiency and flexibility for providers.
The new Schaumburg facility provides a comprehensive range of outpatient services in a setting designed to promote comfort, accessibility, and overall wellness. Large windows, clear wayfinding, and hospitality-inspired finishes create a welcoming experience for patients and visitors.
Clinical areas are carefully organized to streamline workflows, reduce travel distances, and improve collaboration between care teams. Through innovative design, Eckenhoff Saunders successfully converted a retail shell into a state-of-the-art healthcare destination, balancing Duly’s operational needs with an environment that reflects their commitment to high-quality, accessible care.
