Bank of America Tower

Dallas, Texas

Eckenhoff Saunders was invited to submit a conceptual design for the Bank of America Plaza redevelopment in downtown Dallas, the city’s tallest building. The firm proposed the creation of an identifiable campus destination. Zero-energy garages expand parking by 1,000 cars, and extensive parks and water features bring office workers and visitors outside. The lobby and an underground commercial & retail concourse are reconfigured to create a sunken plaza and connect the campus’s different elements. The masterplan accommodates the future development of a multi-story hotel building and the creation of an observatory to enhance the building’s status as a tourist destination.
