After School Matters – Orleans

Eckenhoff Saunders is teaming up with After School Matters (ASM), a nonprofit organization focusing on after school programs for high school teens, on a new ambitious redevelopment that will transform a 36,000-square-foot former Catholic school into an inspiring and resource-rich environment for teens. When completed, the facility will feature a black box theater, gymnasium, cutting-edge culinary kitchen, art studios, STEM labs, wood shop, and outdoor urban gardens. The facility plans to open later in 2025. Eckenhoff Saunders has teamed up with ASM on previous exciting developments throughout Chicago, including the After School Matters Wing at Gately Park in Pullman and the Michael and Karyn Lutz Center for After School Matters in Belmont Cragin.
