Eckenhoff Saunders Wins CBC Merit Award for After School Matters Facility

Eckenhoff Saunders is proud to share that the new After School Matters facility at 1065 N. Orleans has received a Chicago Building Congress Merit Award in the Pre K-12 Education category.

Located in Chicago’s Cabrini-Green neighborhood, the new facility was designed to support creativity, collaboration, and opportunity for Chicago teens through expanded programming in the arts, technology, communications, and workforce development.

Eckenhoff Saunders served as the lead architect and interior designer for the project, working closely with After School Matters, Ujamaa Construction, and the broader project team to bring this transformative facility to life.

We are honored to see this meaningful project recognized by the Chicago Building Congress and grateful to everyone who contributed to its success.
