Northwestern Medicine – Endocrinology Suite Renovation

Northwestern Memorial Hospital (NMH) engaged Eckenhoff Saunders to renovate a clinical suite that our team originally completed more than 15 years ago. The space, most recently used as a sleep center, was reimagined into a modern Endocrinology Suite centered on patient education and long-term health management, particularly for conditions such as diabetes.
The 10,500 sf buildout includes consult, exam, treatment, training, and DEXA rooms, organized to support both clinical care and hands-on learning. The design reflects NMH’s updated finish standards, creating a more welcoming, cohesive environment that elevates the overall patient experience.
By integrating dedicated education spaces alongside clinical functions, the suite is designed to promote engagement, improve understanding of chronic conditions, and support better health outcomes through informed patient participation.
