Bank of America Tower
Dallas, Texas
Eckenhoff Saunders was invited to submit a conceptual design for the Bank of America Plaza redevelopment in downtown Dallas, the city’s tallest building. The firm proposed the creation of an identifiable campus destination. Zero-energy garages expand parking by 1,000 cars, and extensive parks and water features bring office workers and visitors outside. The lobby and an underground commercial and retail concourse are reconfigured to create a sunken plaza and connect the campus’s different elements. The masterplan accommodates the future development of a multi-story hotel building and the creation of an observatory to enhance the building’s status as a tourist destination.
