Evanston Hospital – School of Nurse Anesthesia

This new space at Evanston Hospital provides a home for the School of Nurse Anesthesia, one of the nation’s oldest nurse anesthesia programs. Operated in partnership with DePaul University, the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program is designed to cultivate clinical expertise, leadership, and innovation in anesthesia practice. The dedicated facility expands the program’s capacity while providing upgraded amenities that enhance the student experience.
The program includes a flexible 50+ seat classroom, private focus rooms for testing, collaborative study rooms, a student lounge with a variety of seating options, a break room, a wellness room, dedicated lockers, and administrative offices. Designed with students in mind, the spaces balance comfort, durability, and a playful character, highlighted by a custom social media wall graphic in the student lounge.
The project also included a new dedicated physicians’ lounge and renovated public restrooms, further enhancing amenities for staff and visitors.
