Northwestern Memorial Hospital Endocrinology Suite Renovation

Northwestern Memorial Hospital engaged Eckenhoff Saunders to renovate a clinical suite originally completed by our team more than 15 years ago. The space, most recently used as a sleep center, was reimagined into a modern Endocrinology Suite centered on patient education and long-term health management, particularly for conditions such as diabetes.

The 10,500-square-foot buildout includes consult, exam, treatment, training, and DEXA rooms, organized to support both clinical care and hands-on learning. The design reflects Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s updated finish standards, creating a more welcoming, cohesive environment that elevates the overall patient experience.

By integrating dedicated education spaces alongside clinical functions, the suite supports improved patient engagement, a greater understanding of chronic health conditions, and better long-term health outcomes through informed participation in care.
