After School Matters Orleans – Groundbreaking Ceremony

Eckenhoff Saunders joined the groundbreaking ceremony for the newest After School Matters project in Cabrini Green at 1065 N. Orleans. Among the attendees were Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson and former Mayor Richard M. Daley, celebrating this ambitious redevelopment that will transform a 36,000-square-foot former Catholic school into an inspiring and resource-rich environment for teens.

When completed, the facility will feature a black box theater, gymnasium, cutting-edge culinary kitchen, art studios, STEM labs, wood shop, and outdoor urban gardens.
