Lutz Family Center Annex Opens for After School Matters

Eckenhoff Saunders collaborated with After School Matters (ASM) for the opening of their new 2,000 sf annex at the Michael and Karyn Lutz Center in Chicago’s Belmont Cragin neighborhood. This exciting new development centers around innovation space offering programming for teens to learn welding, bike repair, and urban gardening skills. ASM is a nonprofit organization that supports up to 19,000 teens across Chicago each year with paid opportunities to develop their talents while gaining critical skills for work, college, and beyond. Eckenhoff Saunders was also lead architect, planner, and interior designer for the award-winning After School Matters Wing at Gately Park and the original Michael and Karyn Lutz Center.
