Eckenhoff Saunders is proud to team with AMITA Health for the $107 million renovation and expansion project at Alexian Brothers Medical Center Elk Grove Village. The hospital expansion will add more than 70,000 square feet and two new floors to the existing four-story building, including 36 new beds, new operating rooms, and recovery space.

The renovations will modernize over 200,000 square feet of existing space as well. In addition, the project will include 22,000 square feet of new operating rooms and recovery space, expanded to accommodate leading-edge procedures, such as new robotic, minimally invasive treatments.

“The new, private inpatient rooms will include all the modern conveniences for patients receiving neurosciences services, some of our most critically ill patients,” said COO and Vice President Dan Doherty. “It’s imperative we invest in our facility to better serve our patients and community.”
