ESA’s design of the Northern Trust Company’s new branch offices on Chicago’s fashionable Oak Street in the Gold Coast neighborhood reinforces the bank’s commitment to providing customers with personalized service. The 13,000 sf, two-story building has numerous private consultation areas and provides private offices for bankers and trust and security officers. The building’s classically inspired limestone elevation and sky-lit interior atrium aesthetically link the new facility both to the bank’s main branch on LaSalle Street in the city’s banking district and to the surrounding townhouse boutiques on Oak Street.
